Bizee gives you the option to build your own LLC services package through its Basic plan, which offers standard filing for free plus Kentucky’s state fee of $40. Included are essential services, as well as lifetime compliance alerts, business tax consultation, a business banking account offer and an easy-to-use online dashboard.
You can add an employer identification number (EIN), IRS form 2553, an operating agreement and a banking resolution for an extra cost. However, if you need a few of these services, it will likely make sense to upgrade to the Standard plan or the Premium package, which also includes business contract templates and an expedited filing time.
Bizee doesn’t offer much in the way of legal services, focusing instead on its core business offering. There is also no mobile app, but for a flexible, streamlined approach to starting your Kentucky LLC, it’s a strong option.
Pricing
Along with other providers, Bizee offers a free LLC filing service that only costs the Kentucky state filing fee of $40 or an extra $50 for expedited filing—this promises a processing time of six days instead of three weeks. You can add an EIN for $70, an operating agreement for $99 and IRS form 2553 for $50—or choose the Standard plan for $199 to get these all included.
Bizee’s Premium plan costs $299 but includes expedited filing as standard, all other add-ons listed, plus access to business contract templates that cost $150 for all other subscriber tiers.
While the cost of these add-ons does stack up, they’re still on the more affordable side compared to other providers.
A benefit to note is that the fees for the Standard and Premium plans are a one-time fee. Other services charge these fees annually.
Customer Service
Bizee offers customer service by contact form, phone and live chat, and you can reach them from Monday to Friday during its business hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT.
There isn’t 24/7 support available, but not many providers offer this, so it isn’t a major drawback. But the lack of weekend support may put some businesses off. However, Bizee does get a bonus point for its fully bilingual English and Spanish support team.
Reputation
Bizee’s reputation among its customers is strong, earning an Excellent score from Trustpilot. However, there was some criticism of its processing time, with even expedited processing taking a long time.
