The card’s first tier bonus remains unchanged at 140,000 IHG One Rewards points after spending $4,000 in three months after opening the account and can be redeemed for up to four nights at some IHG properties. The potential additional 60,000 points with this new offer could mean another night at a 35,000-point IHG hotel, plus some leftover for your next trip.
Along with this hefty new offer is a bulked-up spending requirement to get the full 200,000 points. A small business in need of some capital upgrades, seeking to increase its social media presence and search engine advertising or has other larger expenses who can or wants to stay at an IHG property when traveling should consider applying for the IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card.
The chance to earn up to 200,000 points from a single new card is incredible, but keep an eye on the two-pronged bonus. Some businesses may need to stretch beyond their means to reach the second set of welcome points. But those that earn the full bonus are in for a real treat: 200,000 IHG One Rewards points open up a lot of opportunities.
